I still work at GAB as a "one-leg-kick" and recently given charge of the kegging line. Therefore, I start work at 6 am and finished by 2pm. Somehow this has given me plenty of time but I have nothing to do after 2pm. I normally go home and nap, wake up and have dinner and then take a casual drive to ease my mind. That is Monday to Friday. Saturdays are for clubbing and badminton on Sunday mornings with my colleagues. Speaking of which I like my racquet that's made out of volcanic rock. So stiff and light, the feeling is almost magical.
At this time of the year I am in a dilemma of whether I should quit my job or continue working until I find another one. The pay in GAB is averagely good and is really tempting not to continue working there but somehow the work that I am doing is very laborious, more like an operator. After spending 3 years in Australia I feel that this is a total waste of talent and time. This job has no value at all, and I felt cheated by a person whom I thought I could trust. I guess nowadays trust has no value anymore. The only thing that binds me to the company is their pay. No overtime and I won't even work a minute pass working hours anymore. The feeling of being shortchanged; extremely painful.
Getting played and toyed emotionally is also as painful. Thanks to a few good friends that I have met along the way, I managed to recover quickly and move on with life. Polar and the Fab 4 have given me smart advices and I am glad such nice people do exist in times like these. Some of the advice which I should have paid attention and followed but I didn't; I ended up regretting. These people are seniors and would have had more experience than me, but somehow my dick head is doing the thinking at that time hence the fiasco.......XPLet us all observe a moment of silence for my most trusted colleague of mine. Both his parents passed on this year within a short period of time.
